45inx.com NO SPAM POLICY
|
|
45inx.com does NOT send spam.
PERIOD
|
| For a
couple years, I have had only very few valid email addresses that
would send email from 45inx.com, for various purposes, mostly alerts to
me about various performance parameters, problems with the site,
hacking attempts, etc. As those were the only addresses I had set up, I had the server just simply block and delete emails to any addresses that I had not set up specifically. However lately, on a whim, I decided to see just what kind of email I was receiving on ficticious email addresses. I told the server to forward ALL emails to me, don't block any. Well, back to the SPAM policy, I noticed that I receive a LOT of returned, undeliverable email from ficticious forged spammers. That concerns me, as it appears that these spam emails originate from 45inx.com, however I can assure you that My email server NEVER sent those emails, thay are forged headers made to LOOK like they were sent by an email address from 45inx.com! Generally speaking the only email I send is a small mail list which is a DOUBLE OPT-IN ONLY list, (changed 08/13/04). Double Opt-In list means that a subscriber MUST request to subscribe, then they receive an email that they MUST confirm before they are added to the list. The link to unsubscibe to the list is in each email, as well as on the home page of the 45inx.com site. Unsubscription is a single opt-out process. Single opt-out means you click once, and POOF automagically you're off the list, you get one email telling you you are off the list, then no more. The list itself is NOT available for sale, rent, lease or view by ANYONE except me, (except of course by court order, or warrant). Spam email has become such a huge problem. Not only for you folks just trying to send and get email from Aunt Mabel, Uncle George, your business partners, etc. But for web site owners as well, who become the victims of identity fraud, when some spammer finds a domain name that has a virgin territory of email addresses to choose from. In any case, I wanted to make it clear that 45inx.com has a Privacy Policy concerning your personal info, AND a very clear NO SPAM policy. 45inx.com does NOT send unsolicited commercial email. If you received spam that looks like it came from 45inx.com, I am as much a victim as you are. As much as you get angry at the spammers for sending junk to you, I am doubly angry that they abused my good name to send that junk to you. I wonder how much of a problem this would be if the network had a "kill" button we could press for any spam we got, and that button would go track down the original sender of the spam, the ACTUAL person, and once out of every hundered times someone pushed that button, it WORKED!! And I wonder sometimes how much more polite drivers on the road would be if one out of every hundered cars was equipped with a .50 caliber auto tracking auto turret mounted machine gun, and a trigger on the steering wheel, and once out every hundered times someone pulled the trigger, it WORKED! Yeah, I know it would make a mess, but what the hell, does it really look like those commercials we saw in the 50's?? It never DID look like that, but it sure is a mess today! And I wonder why we never set up radio transmitters on the streets and highways, and receivers in cars that told the car what the damn speed limit is. Sure a driver could override that, put a button on the steering wheel, so you can pass someone or whatever. BUT if you are driving on override them transmitters are lookin at ya. Explain it to the judge. OK, it's late I'm tired, so I'll stop before I get to the shark muscle electrical generator. 45 Mike. |

I'm listing some spam sites and email addresses from sites that send me spam, DON'T try to email these folks, unless you wanna end up on their spam lists. I am listing these so email harvester bots will find them, and start flooding THEM with spam! Yeah, I know it's a futile gesture, but I'll do anything I can to bend them bastards over.
Oh yeah, these are spam sites that forged my domain name in their email:
assklo.cheapbuysjjz.com
www.protecttheweb.com
And these are spam sites, but they did not forge my domain name:
kanbkball.com
jubya.fahbaim.info
www.eieqo.com
www.ijjad.com/
kes.frogcapture.net
grandport.com
referralware.com
emarketplacedirect.com
Actually I'm thinking that if enough people did this, list spammers emails that eventually the flood of spam they have to deal with might convince them what a nasty problem they create. (forlorn hope, I know) |
