The crimson hue of daylight carved the horizon like a jagged razor. The night, leaving howled back at me. Broken upon the mountain served up to the sky sacrificed to the whim bones and dust. Hammer blows of light and thunder. Now I glow defiant. Steel raised. Like a torch against the dawn. Forged in creation tempered in emptiness whetted upon the wheel of life. Polished by love furnished by friends. Jeweled by eyes from the darkness reflecting the crimson hue of daylight carving the horizon like a jagged razor. |
